Two fabulous free NHT!-related literary events are taking place in Toronto on Monday, February 22. New S.W.A.T. writer Elisabeth de Mariaffi and returning writer Aaron Tucker are reading at the Magpie Café in honour of the Emergency Response Unit’s launch of its sophomore round of chapbooks, while writer/NHT! staffer of yore Pasha Malla and former S.W.A.T. writer Lisa Foad will be reading from their new short fiction collections at This Ain’t the Rosedale Library. The first event starts at 7:30 while the second runs from 8-11, so unless you’re especially seasoned in the art of space travel, you’ll probably have to choose between them. But now it’s back to school for students and back to work for the rest of us. Here at the NOW HEAR THIS! office we’ve been comfortably settling back in and planning some of our wonderful new projects for 2010 such as:
