Where are they now? Zoe Whittall

Zoe Whittall was one of our super-talented S.W.A.T. writers-in-residence for the first two years of the program. She is a critically acclaimed fiction writer and poet and this Sunday she'll be charming the literary crowds at the Eden Mills Writers' Festival.

What is this festival? Well, not only is the Eden Mills Writers' Festival nationally acclaimed and widely respected in the literary community, but it's also one of the prettiest (at least, that I've ever attended). Taking place in the quaint village of Eden Mills (situated near Guelph and roughly 80 km away from our downtown Toronto offices), the festival runs this Sunday, September 20th, 2009 from noon 'til 6 p.m. A gorgeous outdoor festival along the banks of the Eramosa River, the Writers' Festival is one of those rare opportunities to watch the literary crowds get out of the city and take over the historic village of Eden Mills.

I know I'll be at the Festival this Sunday watching Zoe read. Will you?
