Two of our S.W.A.T writers, Mariko Tamaki and Rebecca Rosenblum, have been recognized for their outstanding literary contributions. Mariko Tamaki's Skim, a graphic novel created in collaboration with her illustrator cousin, Jillian Tamaki, recently won the best book prize at the 2009 Doug Wright Awards. Congratulations Mariko and Jillian!
And further congratulations are in order for Rebecca Rosenblum who has been shortlisted for the Danuta Gleed Literary Award for her short story collection, Once. Way to go Rebecca!
Also, we here at NOW HEAR THIS! are a little jealous because according to Facebook, Rebecca is currently in Tokyo (Say hi to Ben for me!!).
