To celebrate the impending close of Winter we look back to the summery days of last June and the HEAR/HEAR Reading Series. Jenny Sampirisi, one of our wonderful writers who’s been with us for the past two years has certainly been keeping herself busy. Now you can listen to a podcast clip of Jenny’s latest poetic project, Croak, which she describes on her website as follows:
"It takes the 'digital' age literally and conceives a cast of characters experiencing limb deformity. The project is interested in bodily interaction with virtual worlds and shifting ideas of the body in relation to sense, time and memory in digital spaces. Croak extends the central concerns of experience vs. knowledge, cause and effect, realism's place in text, and language play that were previously explored in is/was."
