It’s that time of year again! The air’s getting cooler, the leaves are (thinking about) starting to change colour and we are all remembering how important layers are to living in Canada. Most importantly, there are only 7 days until The Word on the Street festival! The Word On The Street is a national celebration of literacy and the written word. On one extraordinary Sunday each September, in communities coast to coast (Halifax, Toronto, Kitchener and Vancouver), the public is invited to participate in hundreds of author events, presentations and workshops. There is a marketplace that boasts the best selection of Canadian books and magazines out there and best of all, The Word On The Street and all of its events are FREE!
