NOW HEAR THIS! is a Toronto-based literacy organization that presents the talents and tutelage of professional writers, editors and other industry professionals to the public, co-ordinates and collaborates with other arts-based community programs, schools and literacy projects, and, above all, promotes Canadian writing and literature through a culture of self-expression, participation and inclusion. 
 
Some of the activities that we are involved in include the ongoing S.W.A.T. (Students, Writers and Teachers) Creative Residencies Program (our collaboration with the Toronto District Catholic School Board); the associated publications of student anthologies and zine projects; the HEAR/HEAR Reading Series; our series of WRITE ON! One-Off Writing Workshops along with future projects such as e-residencies and youth writing competitions.
